Isabelle Veilleux-McConaghy

Athletic Therapist (PC)

Born and raised in Northern Ontario, Isabelle Veilleux is a bilingual, and newly Certified Athletic
Therapist (PC), with degrees from both Sheridan College (HBAHSc - Athletic Therapy) and
Laurentian University (Bachelor of Sport and Physical Education, B.E.P.S).
Isabelle treats with a goal-oriented approach to ensure that all of her patients’ objectives are
met! She has gained field and clinical experience working with various populations, through
internships completed at the Active Therapy Plus clinic, with the Mississauga Ringette
Association, at Ontario Tech University, Durham College and Sheridan College. Having been
involved in the sport of ringette for almost 20 years (and counting), one of her favourite
experiences so far in her career was having the opportunity to provide on-ice assistance to an
elite-level athlete during a National Ringette League game in 2019.
Having sustained, assessed and managed several injuries over the years, Isabelle recognizes
and prioritizes the importance of injury prevention measures! Using manual therapy, therapeuticexercises and modalities to create an optimal environment for healing and retraining has beenher go-to!
When not working, Isabelle loves to school her dad at fishing (pun intended)! She appreciates
the scenic views that come with hiking, and with that, has recently developed an interest in
photography.
Isabelle is excited to return home and give back to her community!
